The 2023 Summer Program provides youth, ages 6 to 18, access to positive adult mentors and opportunities that encourage academic excellence, leadership development, healthy habits, and success after high school graduation. The Summer Program features a comprehensive slate of exciting activities including daily education, art demonstrations, physical fitness activities, technology instruction, career exploration, and more. Meals are also provided.
The 2023 Summer Program will run for nine weeks at all Boys & Girls Clubs locations. The program will take place Monday through Friday from May 30 to August 4 from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. All Boys & Girls Clubs will be closed July 3 to 7.

Daily attendance is required only for children between the ages of 6 and 12, unless due to illness or other extenuating circumstances. Absences extended beyond 3 days will be reviewed by the Club Director and may result in termination of Club membership.
Applications for the 2023 Summer Program will open on Tuesday, January 24, at theclubsdc.org. All registration requests will be placed on a waitlist and reviewed in the order in which they are received. Parents and/or teens will be notified within 72 hours after receipt of your request to confirm whether Club membership has been granted or not. Please do not call the Club until this time has passed.
Yes! Boys & Girls Clubs will also provide exploratory summer programs to a limited number of teens including academic enrichment, entrepreneurial training, leadership development, financial literacy, civic engagement, and workforce development. Middle and high school students are invited to secure their spot at theclubsdc.org. Applications for specialized programs will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
