Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council

Graduates of our STAR Leadership Training program are eligible to receive an exclusive invitation to make a lasting impact in Sarasota County Schools by serving as a member of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council.

Council members work closely with the Superintendent of Schools and the Executive Director of High Schools to organize and host a Superintendent’s Forum each year where students and district officials come together to identify challenges and find solutions that will improve the educational experience. These solutions are used to implement real change in our schools
